A complete review of this book can be found here.  This book came to our attention recently, and in light of AI seemingly being everywhere, reading it made sense.  

One of the biggest take-aways is that AI has a dark side even before delving into all of the "big brother" aspects of it.  Getting one's head around how this technology works, who is behind it, and who is doing the "grunt" work will take real effort, but this book provides a good starting point.
